Understanding the Rapid Growth of AI & Its Role in Registered Apprenticeship: The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is fundamentally reshaping the workforce across all sectors. While the benefits in efficiency, quality, and innovation are clear, the challenge for employers is the existing skills gap in AI-related competencies.

Registered Apprenticeships, with their proven model of combining on-the-job training with related instruction, offer a dynamic and responsive solution to bridge this gap.

This session will start with providing the foundation for what AI is and federal and state initiatives surrounding the use and education of AI and then hear from industry experts to share their real-world experiences.

Panelists include

  • Jeanna Caldwell, USDOL-Office of Apprenticeship
  • Lonnie Emard, Apprenticely
  • Dallas Woods, Mercy
