Apprenticely/ACDS kick started a life changing journey in working in the Technology field. Working in Sales, I wanted to gain modern tech skills and Apprenticely’s program provided that. In January 2022, I began my apprenticeship in SharePoint Development with Affirma Consulting in Northwest Arkansas. Through the apprenticeship, I quickly began learning a variety of meaningful skills, obtaining certifications, and contributing to projects with clients in the first few months. Every day I was learning something new in an ever changing remote landscape. In the last 3 years, I have went from Apprentice, to Junior Solutions Engineer and now Solutions Engineer while leading projects as a Development Lead. Shout out to all the folks at Apprenticely for their support! My advice is to take it day by day, task by task and enjoy the ride.
