The Director’s Chair: October 2022

The Director's Chair

I WANT TO jump ahead a month and make all of you aware of a very special National Apprenticeship Week coming up November 14-18, during which a number of events, both live and virtual, will take place throughout the state. This will be a time to celebrate those Arkansans who have completed a Registered Apprenticeship Program, as well as those employers who have partnered with us to hire these apprentices.

We at ACDS would like to encourage employers statewide to participate in any and all of these events, and if you would like to host one of them, we can help you plan it. Registered Apprenticeship Programs can be nothing less than life changing for the incredible pathways into new and exciting IT careers that they open for so many people in our communities.
